The most important facts
Here you will learn
Maternity Tights are indispensable when it comes to the right gear for pregnancy and nursing. After all, they sit directly on the skin and, like your underwear, are the first piece of clothing you put on that should support you. We recommend our different models with elastic over-bump waistbands, which provide the right support—not just during the cold season.
Even during the first few weeks of pregnancy, your belly and skin are particularly sensitive. Your usual tights will quickly feel too tight around your stomach and irritate your skin unnecessarily. Plus, they'll start to slip down as your belly grows. Anything but comfortable, especially now when you should feel completely at ease. Our maternity tights are made from exceptionally silky and elastic material according to the highest European standards. They give you smooth legs, are breathable, and support you throughout every stage of your pregnancy. With extra elasticity and a seamless stomach area, they provide perfect support for your baby bump.
For extra support, we've developed special models with gentle support and no irritating seams. They counteract heavy legs and water retention, providing a light shaping effect for particularly smooth legs. They're ideal to wear at every stage of pregnancy and look especially good with our maternity dresses . Even after giving birth, our maternity tights with an elasticated over-the-belly waistband can still be worn for a while, providing gentle support during your postpartum recovery.
The denier number, or "den" for short, describes the weight of the tights: the higher the number, the denser the knit, and therefore the more robust and warmer the tights. We have maternity tights from 15 to 200 denier, for every season and occasion.
You're in the right place with us if you're looking for the perfect maternity pantyhose, because we've known since 2004 what makes a perfect pantyhose. We recommend ordering several maternity pantyhoses in different strengths, in black and skin tone, in your usual size. In the last trimester, you might crave a bit more room, and that's where our Bestseller Spanx Maternity Pantyhose with special belly panel comes in.
Unlike regular tights, the seam of maternity tights doesn't run directly across the belly, but along the sides. This means that no bothersome seams are visible under a maternity dress, ensuring comfortable wear. With their seamless design, flat seams, and anti-slip effect, you'll stay in shape in any situation. Trying to simply wear regular tights under your belly often leads to uncomfortable slipping and digging into your skin. You also lack support and protection in the abdominal area. Even in warm weather, sheer maternity tights with support and a waistband can be a comfortable solution under a light dress.
Our maternity tights are particularly tear-resistant and offer better protection against unwanted runs. The reinforced toe area provides relief for your feet, especially at work or when you're out and about. The innovative, seamless gusset, which also offers hygienic benefits, ensures a comfortable feel all day long. They're an absolute must-have for work and, fortunately, pair beautifully with maternity dresses and skirts.
A maternity pantyhose should not fit too loosely and should lie taut on the belly without constricting. Our3D Maternity Tights 60 denwith a soft waistband and side-offset flat seams is a true all-rounder. It is more elastic and tear-resistant than standard pantyhose due to a special 3D knitting technique. It supports you from the beginning of pregnancy and optimally during nursing.
We recommend getting at least one maternity pantyhose in the first trimester that reaches over your belly
and thus supports it throughout the entire pregnancy. Especially in fall and winter, maternity pantyhoses are indispensable must-haves. You can not only combine them optimally with your dresses and skirts, but also comfortably pull them under a maternity pant or maternity leggings. This way, you're warmly wrapped up and get additional support – the perfect layered look when you can't gauge the weather again.
Our opaque 3D maternity tights in 60 denier (or 100 denier) with offset flat seams offer the perfect fit throughout your pregnancy. The special 3D knit provides excellent support for your growing belly.
This makes them particularly robust and tear-resistant. Say goodbye to runs! More transparent models, like our 15 denier maternity tights, are suitable throughout your pregnancy and beyond as an accessory for your outfits. With your baby bump, the tights offer perfect comfort thanks to the seamless belly area, and later they support your postpartum recovery. The gentle compression effect at the ankles also helps prevent heavy legs.

Are you often on the go and want to stay mobile at work, or do you spend a lot of time sitting? With our soft Eco Modal maternity tights (200 denier), you're always well-equipped. They not only feel smooth against your skin but also offer the comfort you need for everyday life.
Our 15 denier sheer maternity tights are perfect for summer or when you're wearing an elegant dress to a special occasion. They're also a great solution for light support under your maternity trousers or leggings, especially if you're wearing peep-toe shoes or sandals and your toes are visible. They generally add a touch of lightness to your outfit.
Black and nude tones are absolute classics for tights, so we focus primarily on these shades. Our maternity tights go with any maternity dress and will always make you look stylish. Skin-toned tights especially complement elegant and festive dresses. However, if you want to perfectly showcase a patterned dress, you should opt for black tights.

Wear light, nude-colored maternity tights.
Depending on your preference, you can choose between more transparent or more opaque maternity pantyhose. The finer, the more elegant is not entirely correct. Opaque models with a support effect like our 3D Maternity Pantyhose 60 den often even create slimmer and longer-looking legs. Note: black, opaque pantyhose can quickly look too wintry if the dress has short sleeves or is a bit airier. Then it's better to go for a somewhat more transparent model. A transparent pantyhose between 5 and 10 den is excellent for the summer months. It makes your legs look a bit more even with dresses or skirts and conceals small imperfections. Hardly anyone would suspect that you're wearing pantyhose.
The big advantage of maternity pantyhose is that it already accommodates space for your growing belly. Our maternity pantyhose are especially stretchy and soft, giving you the necessary room. They effortlessly grow with your baby bump. So you can wear them throughout your pregnancy and well beyond, until your body naturally returns to its pre-pregnancy shape. It's best to order your regular size, the one you wore before pregnancy. But be sure to consider your height, and if you're between two sizes – go with a larger size for your maternity pantyhose!
Unless it's absolutely scorching hot, a finely knitted maternity pantyhose can be a great accessory for you even in summer. You can create great looks with our lighter models, like the skin-colored maternity pantyhose 15 den, paired with short maternity dresses or shorts. For parties or as a guest at a wedding, it's naturally especially important to be able to show even legs. Besides the look, you get the necessary support for your legs and your belly, and your feet also adapt well to your shoes thanks to the reinforced gusset at the toes. We particularly recommend our Mama Spanx Maternity Pantyhose 20 den with extra
supportive belly panel and shaping effect for the last trimester. Under a maternity dress, no seams show at all and your silhouette is beautifully shaped. This way, you can be out and about for longer periods without your legs getting too heavy.
We recommend opting for a higher denier count with maternity pantyhose, especially in fall and winter, as these provide particularly good warmth. The higher the denier count, the more opaque the pantyhose will be. For skin-tone shades, it's best to ensure that the pantyhose matches your own skin tone as closely as possible. Tip: simply pull it over your hand and compare.
