We offer a selection of maternity wear made from organic cotton, such as our Cache-Coeur maternity and nursing shirt in white . Clothing made from organic cotton is also particularly suitable as pregnancy and nursing nightwear due to its skin-friendly properties.
Organic cotton is grown without the use of genetic engineering or chemical pesticides. Garments made from 100% organic cotton therefore contain no harmful substances that could irritate your or your child's skin. Organic cotton cultivation also uses less water than conventional cotton farming. Often, organic cotton comes from smaller producers, securing the livelihoods of farmers and their families through better wages and prices. An important label for organic cotton fashion is the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification. This confirms that a garment has been produced under strict social and environmental guidelines. Because eucalyptus grows quickly and requires little irrigation or pesticide treatment, maternity wear made from TENCEL® is not only particularly skin-friendly but also environmentally friendly in its production process.
